The United States House of Representatives has a number of caucuses, where Representatives of all parties join together to pursue common legislative goals. One such caucus is the Small Brewers Caucus, and Representative Steve Israel has become the first Long Island Congressperson to join. Three breweries are in the Congressional District he represents (NY's 2nd District): Black Forest Brew Haus, Blind Bat Brewery, and Great South Bay Brewery. We brewers thank him for his support.
